The Nordic Centre of Excellence ‘JustEd’ has one year left of funding and this during this last year the plan is to draw together the research and write policy implications for Nordic policy makers and stakeholders in the field of education.

The Management group held a meeting in connection to the ECER conference in Copenhagen in August, where the members discussed on-gong activites such as the upcoming special issue in Education Inquiry, which is proceeding on schedule. The articles for the issue are now in review and will be published in spring 2018.

Other upcoming activities is a two-day seminar “Current Lines in Disability Studies” 20–21 September in Helsinki, a conference on upper secondary education on 22 September in Reykjavik, and an open seminar on inclusion and exclusion in mathematics and science 26–28 September in Stockholm.

Furthermore, in early May 2018, JustEd will participate in a Nordic teacher education conference in Vaasa to reach Nordic teacher educators. A few weeks later, on 22–23 May, JustEd’s end-conference will take place in Helsinki. The conference will mainly target the research community. A Doctoral students’ seminar is planned in connection to the conference.
