JustEd Mobility Fellowships 2018

By on 12.09.2017 in Calls, Mobility

JustEd has been promoting international researcher mobility by granting JustEd Mobility Fellowships for 2-4 week long visits to JustEd’s partner institutions. During these visits the mobility fellows have furthered Nordic educational research with activities such as joint writing, preparing research plans, gathering data, developing ideas, giving lectures, establishing research networks. To continue with the good experiences of the researcher mobility of the previous years, JustEd announces the call for JustEd Mobility Fellowships 2018. The fellowships are primarily open for JustEd members, but a fellowship can also be granted for international visiting researchers whose research is closely related to the centre’s research themes. The application period is open until Friday 10 November 2017. Read more about the JustEd Mobility Fellowship in the call for applications.

See what some of the JustEd Mobility Fellows from previous years are saying about their mobility visits:

“The visit was very successful, we accomplished all our aims and made some very interesting experiences. The data we collected is valuable for our project and for further cooperation with Finnish researchers.” (Senior researcher Astrid Roe, University of Oslo, visiting University of Helsinki in 2016)

“It was a successful visit where old contacts were deepened and new contacts were established.” (Senior lecturer Per-Åke Rosvall, Umeå University, visiting University of Iceland in 2016)

“The visit was a positive experience and all practical issues regarding the trips, housing (by the guest house service of the University) and work accommodation at GU worked very well.” (PhD student Valgerður Bjarnadóttir, University of Iceland, visiting University of Gothenburg in 2015 and 2016)

“It was a great opportunity to work in another, inspiring contexts and to get many new contacts and ideas. I am very grateful for the mobility grant from JustEd.” (Senior lecturer Anna Slotte, University of Helsinki, visiting University of Melbourne in 2017)Mobility_wordle
