Josef Huber
Head of the Pestalozzi Programme, Council of Europe training programme for education professionals, Unit for capacity building, exchanges and mobility in education, Directorate of Democratic Citisenship and Participation, Council of Europe.

Robert Lingard
Professor, Institute of Social Science Research and School of Education, University of Queensland. He is the author or editor of 15 books and about 100 journal articles and book chapters.

Michele Schweisfurth
Reader in Comparative and International Education and Director for the Centre for International Education and Research, University of Birmingham (from January 1, 2013 Professor of International and Comparative Education, University of Glasgow). She is editor of the journal Comparative Education and chair of the British Association of International and Comparative Education.

James Stigler
Professor of psychology, University of California at Los Angeles, USA. He directed the TIMSS video studies (1993-2003) and founded LessonLab Inc in 1998. He has received numerous awards for his research, including a Guggenheim Fellowship and the QuEST award from the American Federation of Teachers.

Lois Weis
Distinguished professor, University of Buffalo. She serves on the editorial board of 8 journals, is the editor of 3 book series, and has published 23 books.
